Similarly, the popular Nest of Tables from Cotswold (CW 8067) is the epitome of practical style with three elegant tables stored within the piece.

Audio visual and home entertainment in general is an area that Wood Bros invests considerable developmental and design research. Old Charm collections offer a variety of cabinets designed for storage and display of audio visual equipment such as the OC 2755 TV Base (pictured in the new Heritage finish).

The OC 2755 combines decorative handcarving and leadlights with functionality: it accommodates flat screens up to 42” and provides storage for dvds and cds in the drawers.

The HE 2688 cabinet, also pictured, combines two storage cupboards and an open front with an adjustable shelf.

A good example is the newly launched Buckingham sideboard (OC2826) that contains a practical cutlery drawer, lined with green baize, behind a decoratively carved drawer front. From the Hertford collection is simply styled bookcase, the HE6031, which features a clever hinged magazine rack.
